Last week, this documentary was aired on TV One. Awi Riddell is a highly respected teacher, leader, and author and holds the Queens Service Medal for services to education. He deeply believes in the importance of education in advancing Māori and Aotearoa New Zealand's interests, and reducing inequality in outcomes.
